Whenever I see an osprey with a fish like this, that song from Aladdin reflexively starts playing in my head.

Paddled out to Midnight Pass around 10 PM. Around leaving time, I start hearing this manatee a few yards offshore. The lardblob with flippers just kept hanging around for a while right near the kayak. I'm fairly sure it was stalking me.

At midday there was enough light for me to focus my camera by eye even with my ND1000 filter on.
